Welcome to the Ontario Jewish Archives’ digital portal.
Established in 1973, the Ontario Jewish Archives, Blankenstein Family Heritage Centre, a department of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, acquires, preserves, and makes available documentary sources related to Ontario’s Jewish community.
The OJA has over 160,000 born-digital or digitized items in our collections documenting Jewish life around the province. This includes photographs, audio and video recordings, documents, emails, drawings, posters, objects, and more. The volume of digital content is continuously expanding, providing improved remote access to the Jewish community’s rich documentary heritage.
Search our catalogue to locate digitized items in our collections.
The OJA has been designated by our donors as the custodian and steward of the archival materials in our care. Please speak with an archivist if you wish to publicly utilize any materials from our collections.
